1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using Room Scanner (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you are using the Service on behalf of a company, you represent that you have authority to bind that company, and "you" refers to that company.
2. Description of service
Room Scanner provides AI-assisted room scanning, furniture/item recognition, volume estimation, quote generation, and truck loading-plan suggestions for moving and removalist companies and their customers. The Service is a decision-support tool.
3. No professional or guaranteed advice
The inventories, volume estimates, quotes, and loading plans generated by Room Scanner are AI-generated estimates and suggestions only. They are not a guarantee of accuracy, and are not a substitute for professional judgment by a trained mover. Operators and their crews remain responsible for verifying item counts, assessing fragility and weight in person, applying safe lifting and packing practices, and making the final call on how a job is quoted and how a truck is loaded. Room Scanner is not liable for damage, injury, delays, or financial loss arising from reliance on system-generated output without independent verification.
4. Accounts
You must provide accurate information when creating an account and are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable regulation.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the underlying models or source code of the Service.
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
- Upload content you don't have the right to upload, or that infringes another person's privacy or intellectual property.
- Misrepresent scan results to customers in a way intended to deceive or defraud.
6. Customer content and license
Scans, photos, and related data uploaded through the Service ("Customer Content") remain owned by the party that submitted them (the Operator or their Customer, as applicable). By submitting Customer Content, you grant Room Scanner a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, process, and analyze it solely to provide and improve the Service, subject to our Privacy Policy.
7. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, branding, design, and AI models, is owned by Room Scanner and its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Except for the limited license to use the Service as intended, no rights are granted to you.

8. Fees and payment
Paid plans are billed as described at the time of purchase or in a separate order form. Fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as expressly stated otherwise. We may change pricing with reasonable advance notice.
9. Third-party services
The Service may rely on or link to third-party services (such as cloud hosting or AI infrastructure providers). We are not responsible for the availability or performance of third-party services outside our control.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT AI-GENERATED OUTPUT WILL BE ACCURATE OR COMPLETE.
11. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ROOM SCANNER WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE — INCLUDING DAMAGE TO PROPERTY OR GOODS DURING A MOVE — EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Room Scanner harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your Customer Content, or your violation of these Terms.
13. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms or for any conduct we believe is harmful to other users or to Room Scanner. You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Room Scanner is registered to operate, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, unless otherwise required by applicable local law.
